There's something really special about capturing love stories and I consider a privilege when I get to be a part of multiple stories within a family. A year prior I shot a wedding film for Alex and Kassy and when Kassy's sister Sarah got in touch, I was thrilled. This entire family is not only gorgeous but they are kind and genuine people. I love that Brandon and Brittney wanted the adventure of an elopement but still wanted to celebrate with those closest to them. Some of their family had never traveled outside the country so their wedding was the perfect excuse for the whole family to finally get a vacation of a lifetime. Their vows will make you tear up and the views will leave your jaw on the floor.

It's not every day that your sister gets married. I was so honored to be able to stand beside her and celebrate this love. She also wanted me give her a wedding video, so I enlisted a few of my go-to videographers to step in and capture the day. In preparing the day, Jon was weary of being on camera and getting too vulnerable so I suggested they do a private vow exchange during the first look. It allowed them to have a moment to look each other and soak in the meaning of the day.

This family is full of eloquent writers, in 2016 I captured Christy + Brady's Wedding and man-oh-man Brady had me tearing up when he wrote his vows as a poem. Well Branson joined this family well prepared because the way he expresses his love for Logan is nothing short of perfect.

The Springs Events made for the best backdrop for this brunch wedding. Oh fun fact, Logan and her siblings could be the next Hanson.

Rich + Kaylyn | Styled Shoot + Proposal

When Rich called me to ask if I’d help him propose, I was stoked! We decided to do a styled commercial shoot that would end in a proposal. The tough part was keeping Kaylyn from getting suspicious, because she is also a videographer I had to think of why I would be asking her to be a model. Inspired by perfume commercials, I came up with a black and white aesthetic and a sensual tone. I told each of them to prepare a declaration of love that I could use as the script for the video - that’s how I got them to wear a mic! We teamed up with photographer Melissa Marshall to help the vision come to life. The shoot was magical and of course, Kaylyn said yes!
