Rich + Kaylyn | Styled Shoot + Proposal

When Rich called me to ask if I’d help him propose, I was stoked! We decided to do a styled commercial shoot that would end in a proposal. The tough part was keeping Kaylyn from getting suspicious, because she is also a videographer I had to think of why I would be asking her to be a model. Inspired by perfume commercials, I came up with a black and white aesthetic and a sensual tone. I told each of them to prepare a declaration of love that I could use as the script for the video - that’s how I got them to wear a mic! We teamed up with photographer Melissa Marshall to help the vision come to life. The shoot was magical and of course, Kaylyn said yes!
